This, like, sorry excuse for a human being has an ego bigger than the national deficit. His plans for a teabagger happening by the Lincoln memorial in Washington DC , IMO, should be dealt with in the same way, as the Demonstrators in Saint Paul Minnesota were, by the Bu$h administration. We haven’t forgotten the cordoned off areas, pepper spray, and rubber bullets used to disrupt any and all dissent against the policies that brought us to war. We haven’t forgotten losing our freedom to, what was called, Homeland Security. We had eight years of unprecedented police and military control that prevented demonstrators from being anywhere near what they were demonstrating against and intimidation by police in full riot gear, that often resulted in arrest or injury.

Beck has allied his movement with Dick’s Army, Freedom Works, and they are openly planning on busing people in for the event. People who have no idea of what a demonstration is really about. Teabaggers have no clue about the police state that has been in place during the eight years of the Bu$h regime, and would be totally amazed when confronted by the corporate military complex who Glen Beck really represents.

Essentially, in Bu$h speak, the enemy would be emboldened by such disrespect for the commander in chief and the demonstrators would have to be cordoned off a couple of blocks away from our national monuments. Needless to mention, Black Water helicopters, Humvee’s, and water cannons would have to be in place to cover any eventualities…G%

Tea Baggers in Wonderland; Do you see any Jackboots?

geezerpower April 10, 2010

Note the difference in the way these demonstrations are handled? We’re talking about total control here. The corporate government is not only controlling Fox News, it is even controlling the Tea Baggers. The police presence here is far from being intimidating. Indeed the sympathetic right wing politicians, who would have been decimated by the Bu$hco Neoconservatives in a similar situation, are encouraging it.

No Jackboots, no riot gear, no tear gas, no rubber bullets. What in the clear blue hell is going on with the Obama administration to allow the very thing that Bu$hco would have made invisible. If this protest had occured during the Bush/Cheney administration they would have had to protest in a fenced area that was blocks from the White House and face lines of Jackboots in riot gear.

PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania — Thousands of people peacefully demonstrated during the G20 summit in Pittsburgh, but police reportedly arrested 40 as they clashed with a smaller group late Friday.

Waving banners and chanting slogans, protesters on Friday flooded into city streets lined with police in full riot gear, still tense after violent anti-G20 protests in the eastern US city late Thursday.

New clashes erupted late Friday on the University of Pittsburgh campus, where police dispersed a crowd of around 400 with pepper spray and a noise device that emits an ear-splitting sound, a local newspaper reported.

Around 40 protesters were arrested, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette newspaper.
