A new pair of AFL-CIO polls out from GQRR show support for the protestors and dropping numbers for Gov Scott Walker. Mark Blumenthal covers the issue:
New polling conducted for the AFL-CIO and shared with The Huffington Post shows Wisconsin voters siding with the state workers, unions and protestors by large majorities and expressing net disapproval of Republican Governor Scott Walker.
While Mark covers some of the confounders (partisan poll, union sponsored), he also notes
In this case, however, the ratings of Walker and his budget and collective bargaining proposal are roughly comparable to an automated survey conducted in Wisconsin last week by WeAskAmerica, a for-profit subsidiary of Illinois Manufacturer’s Association (an organization that has endorsed Republican candidates for state office in Illinois).
Also of interst is this tracking poll:
The Huffinton Post is a socialist liberal ONE POINT OF VIEW propaganda paper. The polls shown here are made up HP polls. EVEREY news agency that has shown polls show completely different results. Come on HP, if you want to participate and be a socialist then move to N. Korea or Russis. I hear you can go to Egypt as well. UNIONS SUCK! THEY ARE SELF SERVING. Anyone who actually pays a permission to work FEE(DUE) isnt to brite. PAY YOUR OWN WAY. NO MORE FREE RIDES ON THE TAX PAYERS DIME.
The Huffington Post is not a paper, it is not tv, and is not radio neither is it part of the main stream media. It is a web log, a place to express your opinion and also a good source of real news that is not tainted by the controlled media of the fat cats.
Wake up, Art, if we ever needed a union it is now. The working man and the unemployed have never had it this bad when it comes to exploitation.
Maybe the fat cats should cut us a deal. Return free enterprise to the grass roots and we’ll forget about the unions. 🙄
