Flynt is ready to POP another GOP like a Pimple!

By- Suzie-Q @ 9:00 PM MST

From Raw Story

First off, the publisher of Hustler doesn’t think top Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani is electable.

“As mayor of New York, would you live in an apartment with three gay guys?,” Flynt asks. A press release sent by the magazine to RAW STORY notes, “Following his separation from Donna Hanover, Giuliani moved in with friends, a gay male couple.”

“I don’t hate gays,” Flynt adds. “But I don’t want to live in an apartment full of them. They’ll bitch and cry and all. That doesn’t bother Giuliani. It doesn’t bother Giuliani to put a dress on to do Saturday Night Live. I don’t trust him. I don’t think he’s electable.”

In a post on the interview, the website Queerty snipes, “Giuliani’s not electable because he is, quite frankly, not believable – a lot like Flynt’s comments.”

Flynt also claims he now has evidence about a closeted gay Republican senator who is not Larry Craig. “The other shoe’s going to drop any day,” Flynt says. “It’ll surprise a lot of people that he’s gay. And I’ll bet you he resigns the same day and rides off into the sunset.”

O’Reilly: The dope on the slippery slope of torture

by Geezer Power …7:29 pm

O’Reilly “This comes down to the fact that there is a civil war in this country over how to fight the war on terror and your on one side and I’m on the other. In our pre interview with you today we ask what interogation techniques you would use and we asked what interrogation techniques you would use to get information from Al Quaida’s uh people like Zubaydah.”

This questionable spinmeister from Faux News tells Turley that “the guy knew
who the Al Quaida big shots were and where they were, after we broke him he gave em up and we arrested blahblabla and all of em.”

In effect Bill’O is saying that he would torture Zubaydha untill he admitted what, in his opinion, “the guy knew.

WASHINGTON — The Lakota Indians, who gave the world legendary warriors Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse, have withdrawn from treaties with the United States.

“We are no longer citizens of the United States of America and all those who live in the five-state area that encompasses our country are free to join us,” long-time Indian rights activist Russell Means said.

A delegation of Lakota leaders has delivered a message to the State Department, and said they were unilaterally withdrawing from treaties they signed with the federal government of the U.S., some of them more than 150 years old.

The group also visited the Bolivian, Chilean, South African and Venezuelan embassies, and would continue on their diplomatic mission and take it overseas in the coming weeks and months.

Lakota country includes parts of the states of Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana and Wyoming.

The new country would issue its own passports and driving licences, and living there would be tax-free – provided residents renounce their U.S. citizenship, Mr Means said.

The treaties signed with the U.S. were merely “worthless words on worthless paper,” the Lakota freedom activists said.

Withdrawing from the treaties was entirely legal, Means said.

“This is according to the laws of the United States, specifically article six of the constitution,” which states that treaties are the supreme law of the land, he said.

“It is also within the laws on treaties passed at the Vienna Convention and put into effect by the US and the rest of the international community in 1980. We are legally within our rights to be free and independent,” said Means. (more…)

Gore Vidal on the Democratic Debate Debacle

anthony @ 13:55 GMT

By Gore Vidal | Truthdig | Posted on Dec 18, 2007

I don’t know how many of you were as appalled as I was at the way that the presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich was totally erased from the last Democratic debate held in Iowa.  This was a decision that was made, I can tell, jointly by the one-time voice of AIPAC, Mr. Wolf Blitzer, and, at the same time, The Des Moines Register—or whatever it is called—a paper of no consequence for the United States of America.

Elements of right-wingism are keeping his voice from being heard, even though there are many millions of us (Kucinich is ahead of both Biden and Dodd in the national polls) out here who like to hear his voice.  He is in the great tradition of the original People’s Party of the 1880s; he is in the tradition of George Washington and of Thomas Jefferson, and to silence him with a bunch of political hacks who have made such a mess of our political system, pretending these were the only voices who could talk as presidential candidates … is it because of their campaign budgets?
