(Hat Tip to Uber Highwayman for this video!)

It is a proven fact that virtually every US President throughout history is directly related to the British Royal Family. Just go to Google or Wikipedia and have a look at the genealogies of the US presidents and you’ll find that their bloodlines lock in to the British Royal family. In fact, these very families have been ruling over the UK and USA for centuries.

What does that mean for you and me?… Well it means, for example, that no matter who you are, you have virtually no chance of becoming a president or a prime minister unless you are directly related to the UK Queen. Though it can count in your favor if you happen to be a high ranking member of a secret society like the Freemasons, Bilderbergers or the Trilateral Commission. Tony Blair and his “oppo-same” David Cameron are BOTH Freemasons and they are BOTH directly related to the Queen. Need I say more?

Our Iraq War Dead

Posted by Basheert @7:02 PM MST

What with all this talk about Darth and his causing the deaths of so many of our troops, I thought I’d go ahead and let everyone know that it’s been a real “good” month in Iraq so far. Darth and Bonehead must be dancing a jig hoping to make another 100+ month. Congratulations guys, the surge, re-surge and non-escalation is going really well. Things are looking up. Doesn’t it mean that we’re winning when we have all these soldiers die every month? I hear from the Bonehead that it means a success???

Dick Cheney Is “Neither Man Nor Beast”

by- Suzie-Q @ 6:10 PM MST

Leave it to Jon Stewart to put Cheney’s attempt to destroy ISU and redefine his status as being outside the Executive Branch best, “since you can’t shoot an entire department in the face, he resorted to a different tactic.” It’s really fun when one of Cheney’s clearly insane moves to flaunt his power and lack of accountability captures the public’s imagination and grows some legs. But then it dawns on you that Cheney will never be admonished by the President and so for the most part he gets to continue in his evil ways. Can you imagine Al Gore or any other previous vice president ever getting that much free reign? George H. W. Bush almost ditched Dan Quayle just because he was an unpopular idiot…but I digress. Check out the video for some good laughs.

An editorial in the New York Times says Vice President Dick Cheney and his staff members have been “belligerent,” “ideological” and “shadowy.”

Also “extralegal” and “dastardly.” And his position, writer Maureen Dowd says, is “bordering on lunacy.”

Of Puppets, Puppeteers And Regencies

by- Mentarch … 15:03 EDT

(Updated below) (Update II)

Welcome to the Cheney Regency of the United States of America! (Hope you’ve been enjoying yourselves …)

The continuing revelations seemingly coming out from everywhere, and concerning Vice-President Richard “Dick” B. Cheney, not only bring to light the utter mendacious incompetence of the White House’s ruling Cabal, but reveal a terrible truth underlying the Presidency of George W. Bush: that the latter indeed acted all along the puppet to the former.

It is said that hindsight is 20/20 – and with regards to the present subject of this article, this saying could not be more à propos.

Nonetheless, the signs were there all along – right from the beginning of the 2000 elections which would eventually lead to the instalment of the Cheney Regency.

The chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee wrote to the White House Tuesday, saying that he has received evidence that several requirements for protecting classified information have been “flaunted.”

In a letter to White House Counsel Fred Fielding, Rep. Henry Waxman (D-Calif.) laid out several examples of “dangerously inadequate” practices after current and former security personnel employed at the White House contacted his staff.

In his letter, the chairman says that unannounced inspections of West Wing offices by the White House’s own internal security agency, the White House Security Office, have been blocked, while the White House Security Office never investigated security breaches reported by Secret Service or CIA agents. Furthermore, White House aide Karl Rove had his security clearance renewed in late 2006, contrary to guidelines issued by President Bush. And managers of the White House Security Office have “ignored basic security procedures,” according to security officers.

Waxman wrote his letter in reaction to White House spokeswoman Dana Perino’s statement that the White House was generally following rules and regulations on the handling of classified information — notwithstanding some disputed oversight issues with the National Archives’ Information Security Oversight Office (ISOO).

How Could Blair Possibly Get This Job?

The Bumbling Envoy

I suppose that astonishment is not the word for it. Stupefaction comes to mind. I simply could not believe my ears in Beirut when a phone call told me that Lord Blair of Kut al-Amara was going to create “Palestine”. I checked the date–no, it was not 1 April–but I remain overwhelmed that this vain, deceitful man, this proven liar, a trumped-up lawyer who has the blood of thousands of Arab men, women and children on his hands is really contemplating being “our” Middle East envoy.
Can this really be true? I had always assumed that Balfour, Sykes and Picot were the epitome of Middle Eastern hubris. But Blair? That this ex-prime minister, this man who took his country into the sands of Iraq, should actually believe that he has a role in the region–he whose own preposterous envoy, Lord Levy, made so many secret trips there to absolutely no avail–is now going to sully his hands (and, I fear, our lives) in the world’s last colonial war is simply overwhelming.
Of course, he’ll be in touch with Mahmoud Abbas, will try to marginalise Hamas, will talk endlessly about “moderates”; and we’ll have to listen to him pontificating about morality, how he’s absolutely and completely confident that he’s doing the right thing (and this, remember, is the same man who postponed a ceasefire in Lebanon last year in order to share George Bush’s ridiculous hope of an Israeli victory over Hizbollah) in bringing peace to the Middle East…
Not once–ever–has he apologised. Not once has he said he was sorry for what he did in our name. Yet Lord Blair actually believes–in what must be a record act of self-indulgence for a man who cooked up the fake evidence of Iraq’s “weapons of mass destruction”–that he can do good in the Middle East.

Just Imagine…

by- Actor212 @ 1:17 PM EDT

One could only hope a certain twice-selected President would be subject to this:

Abe, who faces his first major electoral test in a July 29 upper house poll, is trying to soothe voter outrage over mismanaged pension records, but the Nikkei said its survey showed he has failed to do so.[…]

Abe will return 2.34 million yen ($18,890) of his summer bonus of 5.36 million yen to take responsibility for the pensions issue, chief cabinet secretary Yasuhisa Shiozaki told a news conference.

“As head of the government, the prime minister has decided to do this to take responsibility for the pension issue,” Shiozaki said, adding that he and Health Minister Hakuo Yanagisawa will also return 940,000 yen of their bonuses.

Oh, that we could insist Bush return some of his oil companies’ bail out money for the piss poor job he’s done keeping gasoline prices down, or that Dick Cheney would be forced to return some of his ill-gotten gains from Halliburton as a result of this hideous train wreck of a war!

Or goodness knows how many other Cabinet and near-Cabinet level officers would be forced to return money earned in the industries they’ve had what we can laughingly call “oversight” in!

But more important…

Abe’s recent low poll numbers have not been seen for a prime minister since the gaffe-prone Yoshiro Mori, who was forced to step down in April 2001.[…]

Abe will not automatically have to resign if his ruling coalition loses its majority in the upper house, and it could control the chamber by wooing independents or members of tiny parties if it falls short of majority by a few seats.

But a major defeat would mean the ruling bloc would be unable to enact legislation, which must be approved by both houses of parliament, threatening political paralysis and prompting calls for Abe to resign or even call a snap lower house election.

If only…

But here’s the telling quote that President Bush ought to pay attention to, from his NBFF…”Japanese citizens are feeling very angry about how this has been handled, so I felt that I needed to take responsibility.”

Responsibility, a word Bush has little experience with.
