Joe the Plumber? More like Joe the Keating Family Operative

I guess it’s no wonder John McCain was so happy to use “Joe the Plumber” as a debate prop last night — he’s a partisan Republican who also happens to be a member of McCain’s old friends, the Keating family.

Turns out that Joe Wurzelbacher from the Toledo event is a close relative of Robert Wurzelbacher of Milford, Ohio. Who’s Robert Wurzelbacher? Only Charles Keating’s son-in-law and the former senior vice president of American Continental, the parent company of the infamous Lincoln Savings and Loan. The now retired elder Wurzelbacher is also a major contributor to Republican causes giving well over $10,000 in the last few years.
Now I guess we know why Joe is telling the press that Obama is a “socialist” and that the Obama tax plan “infuriated” him. After all, it would hit families like the Keatings and their minions the hardest.
Not to mention that Obama’s economic-recovery plan would put the crimps on influence peddlers like McCain’s old friends, the Keating Five.
But he sure made for a good one-day story.

I heard on CNN that Joe does not have a license for plumbing in Ohio. So is he a plumber or not?
And he didnt pay his taxes. And in Toledo av. income is 41.000. With that kind of income you dont call a plumber anyway
He is part of the Keating Family… that says volumes about who he is.

I’m SURE he was just an average citizen, not a Republican Party plant at the Obama rally. I mean, come on, are they really that stupid? That suggests a level of despiration that is completely off the dial.
Of course, now that I think about it, it all makes sense! McCain’s campaign will go down as the worse run in modern Presidential politics. Totally inept, lying and stupid, and that’s just the VP.
I know, it’s all been just a joke. Anytime now, the real John McCain will come out from behind the curtains and the fun really begins.

I find it very unlikely this guy is a Republican plant. If his father was Robert M. Wurzelbacher Jr., that means his mother is Elizabeth Keating, one of Mr. Keating’s daughters.
COME ON.
There is no way this would have gotten out there like that. This poor guy did something that he felt was right. I disagree with him and I think is “socialist” rhetoric is stupid, and I feel that Obama is more in tune with family values and personal responsibility, but I think he is being unfairly targeted for asking a stupid question.
And face it, unless I am wrong and he really is a millionaire planted by FOX or the Republicans, he really WOULD do better under an Obama administration.
Please be careful what speculations are made about this guy. He may be innocent of all of this. There are weeks to go. This will be resolved before the election.

Joe is not a plant. He’s a human. A human who bit off a bit more than he could chew. And a human who may have fluffed himself a bit but now finds himself exposed as a charlatan. He’s not a plumber and he doesn’t own the business.
And Obama’s tax proposals will result in no tax increase for him.
But then, it appears Joe hasn’t allowed tax bills to get in the way of him not paying them.
Joe the Plumber needs to be yesterday’s news … IF he’s related to Charlie Keating – he is a stupid as we think he is. The fact is, people were going to sniff out everything about this guy. It wasn’t the Obama people going after him – it’s pretty much EVERYONE. It was too convenient – and too easy to find out the info.
Everything the McSame campaign does is tactic – they have NO strategery – (I LOVE that word) – they may actually be so stupid they figured they could fly this guy by!

Charles Rangel owes a hell of a lot more back taxes but he is still serving as head of the ways and means committee – apparently he can’t interpret the laws his own committee writes.
