Yesterday, the nation at large was introduced to Sarah Palin’s fraudulent claims of maternity by numerous photographs, video, and a timeline that made even those accepting of the ‘official’ story turn their heads in confusion.
The revelation that had been whispered among the Alaskan legislature was explosive. Sarah Palin is not the mother of Trig Palin. Her daughter is the mother. Scarce if any refutations to the contrary have come forward, and now damning incidents and evidence has come to light.
Mothers of the world have reeled back in disgust and horror at Sarah’s dangerous and possibly fatal story of flying 4000 miles even as she was supposedly in the process of entering labor a month early. Sarah needs to honestly answer for her lies, promptly.

As evidenced in the original diary, Sarah has been photographed during her surprise ‘pregnancy’ as trim, fit, and altogether non-pregnant. Once again presenting Sarah at seven months ‘pregnant’:

The disparity is shocking. Any mother of more than one child will tell you that a female body does not become fitter with each pregnancy, but instead the exact opposite, gaining more and more weight quickly with each successive pregnancy (in Sarah’s case, four). Sarah is a perfectly healthy woman, but is far from a petite size, and would not be able to hide a second trimester pregnancy from anyone with a set of eyeballs.
bloggerinterrupted has culled together news videos from the time of the original announcement (seven months into the surprise ‘pregnancy’), which reveals no protruding belly line, and the total shock of fellow Alaskans:
Of note, the Newsweek conference at the end was entitled “Newsweek: Women & Leadership”. Sarah would issue the statement on her pregnancy the next day (she didn’t mention pregnancy once during the presentation), and Newsweek host Karen Breslau was as surprised as anyone:
At the time, I didn’t know that Palin, clad in a loose, dark dress, was seven months pregnant with her fifth child. An aide called me the next day to tell me that Palin would be announcing the pregnancy at home in Alaska and that she had wanted me to know as a courtesy. She was sorry she hadn’t mentioned it the night before.
A convenient reasoning, allowing Sarah to deftly avoid questioning of any sort before, during, or after the presentation in Los Angeles. This isn’t the first time Sarah has fooled someone on video.
In yesterday’s diary, a video of Sarah hiking around Juneau, Alaska (and standing in high heels at six months ‘pregnant’) was presented by Alaska HDTV. They have since issued a statement:
Regarding her pregnancy, all I can say is that it was not obvious to the three of us who were there during the filming. At this time she would be somewhere in her 7th month of pregnancy, which could be hidden with clever clothing, jackets, etc.
In addition, these videos also mark stark contrasts to another video of Sarah’s career as a Sports News Journalist, taped here when she was pregnant with child. Her facial features are altered, a common effect of pregnancy that Sarah miraculously avoided during her fifth with Trig.
Fast forward to the alleged ‘pregnancy’ itself, a physician that delivers babies commented at Talking Points Memo that he has serious issues with Palin’s decisions:
She claims she flew from Texas to Anchorage after she was having contractions and leaking amniotic fluid. This simply doesn’t make sense.
I am a physician and I deliver babies (my last delivery was about 36 hours ago).

There is very little chance that a 44 year old woman who was pregnant with her fifth child would last 8 hours with ruptured membranes and contractions. Especially when the baby was approximately 4 weeks early; She would have delivered this baby on the plane.

Playing the back seat doctor here, my advice would have been get in the car and go to the nearest hospital with a maternity ward. This is called Premature Preterm Rupture of Membranes (PPROM) and it is dangerous.

10:30pm – Palin arrives in Anchorage (approximately 22 hours after membranes ruptured, you start to get worried at 12 hours).
11:30pm – Palin checks into Mat-Su regional in Wasilla, Alaska. (It seems kind of strange that she wouldn’t have gone to Providence in Anchorage which has the highest level maternity care in the state. You would want a child with genetic defects to be delivered in a bigger place with more services available.)

If she knew her child had this disorder and got on a plane with leaking amniotic fluid, then she shows incredibly poor judgment.
Mentioned below the statement, is the revelation that after landing in Anchorage, Sarah drove past both Providence and Anchorage Regional, facilities ideal for premature deliveries, as both are equipped with neonatal intensive care units (NCIU). The doctor who supposedly approved of Sarah taking such risks, and later delivered Trig? Cathy Baldwin-Johnson, who has since been scrubbed from the Mt-Su Regional Medical Center website. Web Archive naturally shows her at the top of the scrubbed list. Sarah’s relationship with Cathy has formed over the years, and in 2002 (then Mayor) Sarah named her Family Physician of the Year. In May 2007, (then Governor) Sarah appointed Cathy to the Alaska Health Care Strategies Planning Council, as evidenced by this scrubbed State Press Release. Special connections for special friends.
Mat-Su Regional, the hospital where Trig Palin was delivered, surprisingly does not list Trig on their own list of babies born in that facility for that day of April 18th. A peculiar oddity, as hospitals are usually proud when a local celebrity gives birth within their facility.
Which brings us back to Bristol Palin, the rightful mother of Trig Palin. Over the course of seven months, Bristol had three separate driving offenses, one to carry insurance, one for speeding, and another one for a collision. As a sixteen year-old driver, incidents such as these happen all the time. This is noteworthy, however, due to her being out of school at the time due to the family excuse of ‘having infectious mononucleosis’ for a period of five to eight months. The police statement reads:
Wasilla Police Department
On February 8, 2008, at 1737 hours, Wasilla Police responded to two vehicle collision at Seward Meridian Parkway and Fireweed Drive. Investigation revealed that Bristol Palin, age 17 of Wasilla, was driving a 4-door sedan and attempted to turn into a business when she struck a 2-door sedan driven by Joshua Moffet, age 19, of Wasilla. Palin was issued a citation for Failing to Use Due Care to Avoid a Collision. Moffet was issued a citation for an expired registration and no proof of insurance.
Out of school, and in a fender-bender located in front a Medical Family Center. Not good.

Bristol & Trig have been pushed backstage or elsewhere in McCain/Palin appearances already, as evidenced by the Washington, PA campaign stop in which Sarah stated Trig was napping while Bristol was watching over him. In any regard, they looked together wonderful at the initial Vice-Presidential unveiling in Dayton, Ohio on Friday:

Tearing apart a mother from her child in the public’s eye for political points is the lowest of the low. Bristol Palin deserves a truthful explanation to the public from Sarah immediately. This charade on the national stage is pathetic, and needs to end promptly.

I’d just like to say that personally, if Sarah Palin and her husband had chosen to help their daughter by raising the baby themselves, no one would be saying a thing. Many parents when faced with an unmarried daughter’s pregnancy, pitch in, help out or even offer to raise the baby. This is laudable and shows a great love for their daughter in difficult circumstances.
The issue here is not the pregnancy or the baby.
This Sarah person has been nominated to be Vice President of the United States and IF she is lying deliberately about being the baby’s mother, that is defrauding the citizens of the United States.
It’s about the lying, the deceit, the utter callousness that she is showing to her daughter, by placing her in a position where the entire country will find out what happened.
Once again, if she is helping her daughter by helping her raise a child, more power to her. But she has woven a ridiculous web of unbelievable lies – and she will get caught. And don’t forget, it’s very likely that many of Bristol’s friends knew about this at the time –
The truth always comes out Ben Since she’s chosen to weave the lies, then she’s going to have to suffer the consequences when her lies becomes public for all to see – humiliating her daughter in the process. And if this is a true pack of lies, shame on Sarah Palin.
This story has legs – there are medical records that are subpoenable – there is no way a multipara traveled 4000 miles bypassing two hospitals that had NICU units, to give birth in a small town, 4 weeks premature, baby with Downs Syndrome, when her water broke 20 hours before. It is ludicrous….

I will wait and see on the details of the rest of the story. But I did see one problem. The accident the daughter had happened at 1737 hours which is 5:37 in the afternoon. So she was hardly skipping school to be at this location at that time.

There is every possibility that this is a complicated ruse started by Republicans who want the predicted outcome – that Trig IS Sarah Palin’s baby – to generate outrage and disgust toward Democrats (who are already being falsely blamed for “starting this rumor”) and strident sympathy for the Palin fmaily.
This is not beyond the deceitfulness of Republicans. Beware.

I hid a pregnancy with clever jackets right up until my fourth baby was born – but every, and I mean EVERY, pregnant woman knows the waist is GONE at the second trimester.
Some of us know the trick where you thread a rubber band through a button hole on a skirt’s waistband and then loop the ends around the button to get another inch of two or room.
But you CANNOT tuck a blouse into a skirt’s waistband and come up with the look Sarah Palin shows in this video at seven months. Are you sure you have the date right on this footage??
If rumors are true, the saddest thing would be knowing that Sarah and Todd Palin could have claimed their daughter’s baby in order to put in on their family insurance policy. Downs Syndrome babies often have huge medical needs (costs).
Bristol Palin would not have had any coverage for a baby of her own, so it would have had only indigent care or whatever care the family could pay for privately (unless they bought Bristol her own separate family policy).
The Palin’s insurance company might be a little interested in knowing the truth about this rumor.
My comment is that it is easier for a 44 year old woman to try to look like she’s pregnant than it is to hide a pregnancy.
I knew a woman who wanted to win back her husband by pretending to be pregnant. She just shoved out her stomach, wore some loose clothes, especially dresses with high waistlines to accentuate the stomach. And she made a point of visiting all her husband’s friends and standing and sitting so her stomach bulged out.
If Sarah and Todd Palin decided to claim a baby that Bristol was having, it would be easy for Sarah Palin to start “looking pregnant” and wearing a wardrobe that made her look pregnant, i.e., loose dresses.
I think it’s odd that the Alaskan Airlines staff could not tell Sarah Palin was in labor, but supposedly a friend “saw that she was pregnant” in the airport. Was this just Sarah Palin shoving her belly out to make herself look pregnant in front of someone who knew who she was?
And it is easy to imagine that Sarah Palin could have gotten a telephone call while she was in Texas saying that Bristol’s water had broken back in Alaska. Sarah Palin would have had a lot on her mind with her speech and her ambitions and the whole swirl of emotions about her daughter having a baby. She might just have blurted out that “her water broke”, and then regretted it later when everyone is blogging that no woman in her right mind would board a plane and fly 11-12 hours back to Alaska with the first signs of labor underway.
Also, what is this stuff about Sarah Palin having labor induced after she got back to Wasilla?? I can see her daughter needing for labor to be induced after water breaking – obstetricians won’t wait many hours before inducing and first deliveries, especially in young women, can be pretty long and difficult. But a 44-year-old woman who’s supposed to be having her FIFTH child, a woman who has been racing around all day traveling from Texas to Alaska?
I’m sorry, I have trouble seeing how she would hold onto that baby for what seems to be about 24 hours and then having it induced? What?!
The whole return to Alaska doesn’t make any sense at all.
I flew from Asia to South America at about seven months pregnant with my fifth child (I was as big as an elephant and every stewardess was concerned). Believe me, flying while pregnant is not a picnic and any sane woman WANTS the staff to know so that she will receive as much attention and care as possible. I flew first class and still appreciated the extra care I got.
Think about the ankle swelling and fluid retention alone!
I mean, why was Sarah Palin not puffed up like a helium balloon while she was in Texas after flying down from Alaska?

At this point, the story has legs – it will either prove to be true, or not. There are serious questions to be asked here because admit it or not, like it or not, the made-dash-across-the-country story is full of holes that simply are logistically impossible.
The story is a result of digging – something that bloggers do because the MSM will not. The media in this country is not giving the American people the true story on anything. They are biased and have chosen to take sides in order to influence American voter opinions to the left or the right, rather than just actually report news (what a concept)!!!
I believe Sarah Palin has some questions to answer, especially when the annointed Republican candidate is a very elderly, rather inane babbling old codger that appears to be unable to keep a cogent thought.

I’m not a supporter, but just so everyone knows, this story has been debunked. It was Sarah’s baby, and Bristol is now pregnant with her boyfriend, “Levi’s” baby. Now, unless it’s physically possible to have two babies in such a short time, then this is a closed case. Anyway, just thought I would add this info. I’m sure some people will find a way to explain that too.

I’m not pro-Palin, but in all fairness, and I watched the “urban hike” video closely, she does look a little chunky around her waist there and her chin/cheeks a little pudgy. I’d buy she was 7 months pregnant there. If she was an former athlete, its very possible she could be fit enough during pregnancy to hike around like that, the heels aren’t that high. She might be uncomfortable, but you wouldn’t keel over from it.
Also, I had an English professor who came back to work very shortly, a matter of days, after giving birth. It’s unusual in my book, but not impossible. There actually are women of steel out there.
I think it would be incredibly fascinating if the rumors proved to be true — I love high drama and sensationalism!

Is there any record or photographic evidence of Sarah Palin ever being pregnant within the last 14 months? I think not.
I haven’t heard any official denials about this that would put her or anyone in jeopardy. No doctor has put his or her license on the line by making an official statement. The hospital didn’t even list the birth, therefore not implicating anyone. We are supposed to just believe their response that the charge is outlandish and btw, also believe us that Bristol is 20+ weeks pregnant.
One must simply accept the fact that Mrs. Palin’s personal business is her own affair. If there has been some deception that will affect her credibility as a public figure it will doubtless be exposed in due course. In the U.S.A., in spite of all the blogging and whispering of malcontents ( as well as supporters ) the truth will out. Truth has a funny way of making itself known.
Sarah Palin is a big breastfeeding advocate. Yet the pictures show her sitting near Trig with a bottle next to them on the table. The stuff in the bottle is yellowish, like formula, rather than bluish like breast milk. Why is a BF proponent bottle feeding her son?
