The Clinton campaign has apparently circulated a photograph of Senator Obama dressed in the garb of a Somali Elder while visiting his ancestral nation of Kenya. And of course every toothless, mouth-breathing, Republi-tard like Congressman Kingston will be insisting this is proof that the senator is… well… a bad man.
Drudge, for instance, is running this as his banner headline this morning.
I don’t even know what to say about this. It’s the worst kind of fear mongering politics I’ve seen since Cheney said that Ned Lamont’s primary victory over Joe Lieberman was a victory for the “al-Qaeda types”. The Clintons have clearly embraced Bill Kristol’s recommendation to use fear mongering tactics against Senator Obama. And the chapter in my book “Glenn Beck Has An Unfortunate Name” just got longer.
Tomorrow night’s Ohio debate is going to be ugly.

Oh, yes, be very afraid! The power of fear..
There is nothing to fear but fear itself.
By the way… Cliff Schecter says hello to everybody… he is in the middle of editing his McCain book and it will be out in May.
i still haven’t figured out why we are fighting each other- oh i know that candidates duke it out and apparently, feel that they have to go into the gutter- but it has spilled out into the blogosphere. i posted on folks getting a grip and stopping with the name calling and bad attitudes- and so did another blog buddy of mine- dizzy dezzi. my first choice candidate didn’t even make it to the primaries- so where does that leave many like me? for the candidates to be deliberately causing divisiveness in and election where we need to stick together- well, put it this way- this is my last election as a registered democrat. i am changing my affiliation to independent.
this party no longer represents me or my world view and they seem unwilling- or the clinton camp seems to be- to come into the 21st century. the clintons already had the 1990’s- and that’s where they seem to be stuck. lord knows the rethuglicans are stuck back in the 19th century somewhere before civil liberties and common sense were invented.
Betmo:
I totally agree with you on this. They should stop the mud-slinging and start working together to make one strong force to win.
Well, I guess one of the masterminds for the Neoconservative dream should know how to instill fear. Bill Kristol’s probably thinking about a little disaster in Chicago, something like of a Mid Western Pearl Harbor…G:
