The unanimous conclusion of the 16 U.S. intelligence agencies that Iran ceased pursuing a program of nuclear weapons in 2003, has dealt a severe blow to the Bush-Cheney agenda of forcible regime change in Iran. For several months, the rhetoric emerging from the White House escalated to the point that many observers predicted Bush would attack Iran before he leaves office.
But although the new National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) makes it more difficult to carry out his agenda in Iran, Bush is trying to publicly undermine its conclusions. “I have said Iran is dangerous,” he declared, “and the NIE estimate doesn’t do anything to change my opinion about the danger Iran poses to the world — quite the contrary.” Will Bush provoke an incident with Iran and then respond in “self-defense”?
Bu$hco probably has more intelligence coming in than it wants to hear. Pootie has put the clamps on Bu$h’s ambitions in the Caspian Sea area and on the use of kazakhstan for antimissile bases and now he is selling sophisticated missile defences to Iran, in addition to installing a nuclear power plant. I think his WH advisors would put Duhbya in a straightjacket before they would allow him to have that much authority…G:
It really doesn’t matter. Bush has proven he is incapable of responding to anything even remotely representing “intelligence” … he’s too stupid to be able to recognize what “is” really “is”.
I may be mistaken on this, but Russia is actually not installing a reactor, it is providing some nuclear fuel to an already established nuclear reactor in Iran, with the promise that the nuclear waste will be returned to Russia. They currently do not have enrichment capabilities.

As a signator to the Nuclear Non-proliferation Agreement, Iran has the absolute right to develop nuclear capability for power plants. We are attempting to punish a country for doing what they agreed to do. Our actions are illegal unless and until we can prove Iran is enriching for nuclear weapons.
Good grief, Pakistan CAN have nuclear weapons??? But Iran can’t? And all the Israeli nukes are secret as well.
