The Cafferty File: Redefining Privacy

You have to know that the news that Intelligence official Donald Kerr suggesting the Americans need to redefine “privacy” to not mean “anonymity” from the govenment, but trust that they (and corporations) will protect their information nonetheless would raise the hackles of Our Man Jack Cafferty.
His Cafferty File question was the simple: Why should we?













Hey, there you go. If we can’t do anything about Bush, we can simply redefine everything he’s doing. Privacy, police state, poverty, invading other countries — these terms are all subjective. We can enjoy our “privacy” while we’re being spied on; and we can preach about peace and democracy while we’re invading Iran and Syria.
