This is great stuff, GEF… and things I’ve ranted about for ages! It’s the same with oppressive taxation and security measures… the people have the power of their BODIES and PRODUCTIVITY, whether to withhold them or utilize them… just say NO!
The vid on despotism also hints at abolishing centralized government, which, historically, ALWAYS leads to tyranny. The only form of centralized government I would trust is a theocracy run by God Himself, not any pope or other human being! Smaller, independent governments are the way to go, in my view. You can still have a union but with better control with less monopoly.
I’m not advocating anarchy, which is what will happen eventually under an oppressive leadership — like the current one! Just more independence, and less opportunity for tyranny to get a foot-hold.
That should say: “less monopoly and autocracy.”
